Does yarn make you swoon? Does crafting drive you crazy with desire? Does fibre leave you feeling fabulous? Then good news, Fibrations has arrived! This all-things-fiber event gives the public access to demonstrations, hands-on activities and, best of all, fibre!

If crafting isn’t the centre of your universe, there’s plenty of other events this weekend. The Queen Alexandra Foundation is hosting a car show/picnic to raise funds for it’s latest project, housing for families of children that need to travel for medical treatments. The Fringe kicks off this years festival with an ’80s Prom Dance Party in Centennial Square.
