With fall just around the corner, vacations gone, and schoolwork pending, don’t forget that there is still fun to be had. Get out and take advantage of the remnants of summer with this weeks events.

2nd Annual Float Home Tour – The Float Home Village at Fisherman’s Wharf invites visitors to step inside float homes. SATURDAY Noon-3pm at Fisherman’s Wharf. $5. 250-721-0818.

3rd Annual Vining St Super Block Party – Eat, dance, watch a puppet show, garage sale and celebrate our vibrant community! Proceeds used to improve  tennis courts adjacent to Victoria High. SUNDAY 9am-8pm. Free. 250-995-2696.

House Tour 2010 – Seven stunning homes on the Saanich Peninsula will be showcased. Self-guided tour, map included with ticket purchase. SUNDAY 11am-5pm. $35. RSVP 250-382-4755.

Saanich Heritage Bus Tour & Tea -Tour led by author Valerie Green and features early  pioneer homes and farms of Saanich. Registration required.
