Have more fun than a kitten at a knitting bee.

Does yarn make you swoon? Does crafting drive you crazy with desire? Does fibre leave you feeling fabulous? Then good news, Fibrations has arrived! This all-things-fiber event gives the public access to demonstrations, hands-on activities and, best of all, fibre!

If crafting isn’t the centre of your universe, there’s plenty of other events this weekend. The Queen Alexandra Foundation is hosting a car show/picnic to raise funds for it’s latest project, housing for families of children that need to travel for medical treatments. The Fringe kicks off this years festival with an ’80s Prom Dance Party in Centennial Square.

Like it or not, there’s no excuse to be bored this weekend!

Flame Oz is just one of the many acts that'll grace Victoria during The International Buskers Festival.

With the International Buskers Festival in town, there’s no shortage of entertainment in downtown Victoria this week.

Big, Wet, Mammal Day – Otters, mink, beaver and muskrats, they’re all animals that make their home in Swan Lake. Discover what it takes to be at home in a watery world.
