Calendar: Freshen Your Spirit With the Great Outdoors

It’s been a long wet winter. Sure, the garage needs to be sorted out and the house needs a thorough scrub, but consider taking a break from your spring cleaning to step outside and onto the town.

Art In Bloom – A week long celebration of fine art and all things botanical. The bi-annual fundraiser heralds the beginning of spring to Vancouver Island, and supports exhibitions and programming at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. THURSDAY-SATURDAY. Fair Tartan Day  – Experience the power of tartan. With Scottish Cultural booths, tartan weavers, Scottish baking, pipers, Highland and Scottish country dancers, a Highland dog breed competition, Island Farms “Daisy the Cow”, Scottish entertainment and Celtic bands.
